Had dinner here with husband during the week, nice welcome by hosts followed by a tour of the restaurant and some samples of tea and beer.
Food was authentic and very tasty, main course in buffet style, lots to choose from, traditional food cooked the way the locals do, I tried everything!
Given explanation of where all foods came from by staff at table.
Small gift shop on site to look around too.

Visited as part of an organised tour, was really nice to visit somewhere authentically Zimbabwean outside of the hotel environment.
Menu was all locally sourced and fresh and delicious and the tour beforehand was interesting and very informative

Stunning place to stay! The staff were incredible - especially Irene as she was a ray of sunshine! 

The food was also delicious and we had some fabulous game drives. Manny was our guide with a trainee called Harry and they were both true professionals that made the trip very fun and very informative. We saw lions, leopards, elephants and so much more. This place is such a hidden gem.

Chikunto Safari Lodge is definitely a gem in South Luangwa Park. Wonderfully comfortable accommodations, Michelin-worthy meals, a welcoming friendly staff, and some of the best bush guides I've ever met.  I have stayed at other safari lodges in Africa at nearly triple the cost and Chikunto easily met those standards.  My room was extremely clean and comfortable, the showers were wonderful with ample pressure and really hot water, the hot water bottle for keeping the bed warm actually stayed warm all night, and same day laundry service. I had failed to bring the correct electrical adapter, which might have been a bit of a disaster, but the lodge loaned me two adapters for my room.  WiFi is bus

A wonderful place, the entire team attentive to our needs, the fabulous cuisine, the cleanliness and all the luxury services.  Special thanks to Caterina and Andrea, lovely hosts.  Andrea also guided us on some spectacular safaris.  Highly recommended.

I recently spent a few days at this wonderful luxury camp, in such a remote and beautiful part of The Kafue.

Thanks to Andrea, Katy and team for taking such good care and treating me with the most delicious cuisine.

The wild and remote location offers a private concession feel, but with an abundance of wildlife in the region.
